We will be showing our 2022 project at Joburg Theatre on the 1st of December. 

Dream Park Island follows the stories of Lilian, an aspiring artist whose mother wants her to do science, and Kiara, who dreams of rebuilding the island, starting with a new school. Kiara’s attempts fall flat in the face of an inactive community. The young girls endeavour to use music to advance their dream and they successfully inspire the community but their efforts are undermined by corrupt island leadership.

The story was written by two of our learners and was animated and produced by The Creatives of Active Revision, a group of 10-15 year-olds who enrolled for the 2022 Active Revision’s Animation Programme.
